People from all sort of background whether it be a political leader, head of state, head of financial institute, businessman and philanthropist are in this list. So let’s have a look at this year’s 10 most powerful persons in the world who truly run the world.

Along with preventing Deadly diseases his foundation is also working on several African countries to decrease infant mortality rate and birth control. According to a report published by his foundation by the year 2020 his work will be able to save more than 80 million people worldwide.
Along with actively working and giving away his own assets, Bill Gates has also started Giving Pledge which encourages other billionaires to give away their wealth for a good cause.
Bill Gates’ excellency in computer programming, nature in which he spend his wealth and effectiveness of his work in developing world made him 5th most powerful person in the world.

This ex KGB officer poses significant risk (not exactly, but challenge) to the US influence in the world, and he tried to flip the game. Being an ex military person he has a great personality. Vladimir Putin controls world’s largest Nuclear Arsenal, world’s largest oil and gas reserve and world’s largest territory (Russia). Permanent seat in UN gives Vladimir Putin ability to influence international affairs (by vetoing decisions of US and West).
