Igor Vovkovinskiy

Igor Vovkovinskiy is an American actor and law student. He is best known for being tallest living American with 7 feet 8.33 inches in height. Strange thing about him is that he was about 6 feet tall at the age of 7. He was born in Ukraine and later (at the age of 7) he shifted to Rochester, Minnesota for his treatment at Mayo Clinic. From that time he was living in US. Igor performed in the film named Hall Pass in 2011. His condition is believed to have a tumor in his pituitary gland stimulating his body to produce excessive amounts of growth hormone.

He suffers from acromegaly in which pituitary gland overproduce growth hormone that causes abnormal growth of hand, feet and face. His abnormal growth started when he fell from a cycle at the age of 16. His right leg stopped growing at that time and his right leg is 15 cm shorter than this left leg.

His condition is due to a disorder in his pituitary gland called ‘acromegaly’, which stimulates the body to produce excessive growth hormone. He is currently undergoing his treatment in France to reduce the tumor, which affects his pituitary gland.
